Milan Sonka, a professor, is the dean of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Iowa University, a fellow of IEEE and a researcher at AIMBE. His research field is mostly about medical imaging analysis and processing including cardiovascular, pulmonary, plastic surgery and so on. He has published more than 120 papers, 340 works. Also, he is an editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON MEDICAL IMAGING.
